As a major airport it is, LAX Airport counts with a wide variety of ground transportation options at their passengers' disposal.

Terminals are connected by a shuttle bus (A Route) and Terminals 4, 5, 6 7 and 8 are connected airside through an underground tunnel between Terminals 4, 5 and 6 and above-ground walkways between Terminals 6, 7 and 8.
There is an airside shuttle bus that operates between Terminals 4, 6 and the American Eagle Remote terminal.
Passenger transportation it is available to and from LAX Parking Lot C (C Route).
Shuttle service is also provided to/from the Metro Rail Green Line - Aviation Station (G Route)
To use the shuttle service, travelers should board the LAX Shuttle under the LAX Shuttle & Airline Connections Blue Sign, on the Lower/Arrivals Level.
Service hours: 24/7, every 10-15 minutes.
From LAX it is possible to ride the metro and other public service by getting to Metro Green Line Aviation Station and Metro Bus Center.
There are a couple of shuttle buses that gets there.
From LAX Airport, passengers can get to several destinations within LA and surrounding regions by scheduled routes.
Take a cab and get to downtown LA within 30 minutes.
Taxis are located outside each terminal at the curbised, on the lower level.
Note that there's a flat rate for trips from LAX Airport to downtown of $46.50.
Most hotels provide shuttle service for free to go and come back from the airport to the hotels.
Stops are located on the Lower/Arrival Level islands in front of each terminal. They are signalised as “Hotel & Parking Lot Shuttles”.
