Los Angeles International Airport Terminal 1

Los Angeles International Airport Terminal 1 belongs to the North Terminals, which also comprises Terminals 2 and 3.


It is home of Southwest carrier, which is the only airline that uses Terminal 1 for international check-in of passenger and also for domestic flights.


Boarding gates 9, 10, 11A-11B, 12A-12B, 13-15, 16A and 17A-17B.




LAX Terminal 1 consists of the following levels:


- First level: Arrivals and baggage claim area.

Services: ATMs, Interactive visitors center, luggage carts, family restroom, volunteer information professionals (VIP), and ground transportation options: Hotel shuttles, shared ride vans, taxi, buses and long distance vans, LAX Shuttle (airline connections and metro green line station), rental car shuttle, private parking shuttles.


- Second level: Departures and check-in area.

Services: Complimentary Wi-Fi at LAX, shoe shine, family restroom, and several food, drink and retail concessions.
